Once Upon a Time, We Were There Organization , also known as OUT Organization, is a youth-led community organization in Kenya bringing together passionate teenagers and young adults from different higher learning institutions and communities to create positive social impact.
We are driven by compassion, community service, and a desire to uplift vulnerable children, youth, families, and communities.
Our work focuses on creating meaningful opportunities and providing practical support through mentorship, education, humanitarian assistance, talent development, empowerment, environmental conservation, and community outreach.
Our name reflects our connection to the communities we serve. Many of us have seen, experienced, or grown up around challenges affecting children, young people, and families.
We remember where we came from, and that memory inspires us to return, serve, and create opportunities for others.
